How to Listen to the Live Stream of the 2018 NFB National Convention

Greetings All!

I am writing in because I have some exciting news to share regarding this year's national convention coverage.

As you know, over the past few years, there has been an online stream provided of the general sessions, banquet, and board of directors meeting for people to check out, especially those who aren't able to make the national convention.

There will be a stream this year, too, but there's an exciting announcement I'd like to share about this.

New Voter Technology Now Available in Bonneville County Idaho for the Blind and Disabled

New technologies are making it easier for blind and disabled voters to independently participate in the election process in Bonneville county Idaho.

"There are many challenges for disabled people when it comes to voting, but new assisted technology is giving them a chance to share their voices by taking some of the difficulties out of it.

ESlate is one of the newer voter technologies helping disabled people. One of the older systems called AutoMARK, is still being widely used.

The National Federation of the Blind of Idaho is participating in the Idaho Gives event on May 5th, 2016. This is an online event that allows people and businesses from around the state and accross the nation to make a tax deductible donation to the NFB of Idaho.

2016 is here and with it, Cycle For Independence is once again around the corner.  This is going to be a fun year!  Cycle For Independence offers a great family event where you can come enjoy a 10K, 25k or Metric Century ride.
