Is This Kenneth Jernigan's Best Speech Ever?
by Kevin Pirnie
Just a quick note to draw your attention to our most recent featured banquet speech on our Idaho's Blind Youtube channel.
As you may know, each Sunday we feature a banquet speech from the archives of one of the National Federation of the Blind's former presidents. The majority of these speeches I have converted to video from audio. These classic speeches bring into focus the true philosophy of the NFB and bring understanding of the many issues that we, the blind, were addressing through past decades, also known as the blind movement.
Showcasing Living the Life You Want on Idaho's Blind Youtube Channel
by Kevin Pirnie
Showing the public blind people living the life we want is proving to be a valuable way to educate the sighted about blindness.
Each day the Idaho's Blind Youtube channel is featuring a new video of blind people doing everyday activities. Many are educational on blindness skills and many are simply showing blind individuals living the life they want.
Something New and Exciting for Idaho's Blind
by Kevin Pirnie
Federationists
We have a new exciting feature for our Idaho’s Blind Youtube channel. Beginning today I will be publishing a banquet speech from our prior national presidents in video format each week on Sundays.
The majority of these speeches are available in audio only until now. I am converting many of them over to video so that they can be enjoyed by a whole new worldwide audience.

My Jury Experience
by Dana Ard
I received my first ever jury summons letter in mid-February. Since the dates that I was to appear were in convention week, I requested a postponement, and was soon notified by mail that my dates of service would be April 5-9. I was told that I would have to call in at the end of each week day to find out when I needed to appear at the Ada County court house.
